Theo Schwartz focuses on nature and empty space. Using a variety of mediums including painting, woodburning and digital art, she explores the lines, patterns and shapes of the natural world.

Born in Los Angeles in 1979, she studied Studio Art at New York University. Her work has been included in a variety of gallery shows and private collections. The work closest to her heart has been that of an art educator; first teaching art in homeless shelters in New York, then as a K-5 art teacher in Oakland, CA. Her organization, Big Heart Art, brings art experiences to underserved communities.
